CoH...Let the Ztory begin.

Posted the first, of what may well end up being 20 posts, for the story I have been working on for one of my CoH characters; Zepher-Storm. Hoping that people actually read the thing. Ah well. If not I'll try another eventually.

Seems a lot of people are posting their character lists. I've debated doing that, but I haven't gotten around to it...Until now.

My very first ever CoH character. I based her off the table-top RPG Champions character I played in collage, many, many moons ago. She translates well to CoH actually, except that to get all the powers she ended up having in the paper version, she would need to be around level 62, and have another power pool slot, plus the fire Epic I plan for her.

Sword of Asgard

I named Sword, Ulric Grimmheld after my best friend's SCA name, after he passed from Pancreatic cancer in September of 04. WE had made a pact that the survivor of the two would "Drink some booze, Smoke a Seegar (Cigar), and do something different." To remember the other. I think Sword works as the something different. Knowing the man like I did, he's laughing his ass off somewhere at me. Here's to you, you old fart.

Zepher-Storm

I rolled Zepher cause I thought the Lightning storm power was way cool looking, and I want a toon with that one. Took a while to find the character of Zeph. She was claustrophobic, until I got so. damn. tired. of it, that I clumsily made her get over it. Currently working on a story for and about Zeph and her famliy. I am much beholden to the player of her In-game husband, Seventy-Six, for all the help with editing what I write, plus the contributions he has made in writing parts of it also. Thank you.

Major Rogers

Former military, formerly all human, now merged with a female Kheldian. Not a huge amount of role playing with Rogers. I use him more for soloing than anything, since the only things he has faced so far, baring the AV Maestro, he has handled, if I saw the critter first. Not using the two alternate forms this toon has available. Maybe on another one, but this guy is staying in human form, with uber powers goodness.

Star was originally rolled based on Star Boy from the DC comics Legion of Super Heroes. I actually read the EULA one day, and realized that..Oh hell...Now I done it. So, out went the Bio story, out went the costume. A couple months later, one of the people in the Group he was in got pissy about him not having the comic background and costume, and told me to fix it or else...Thom quit the group, and joined the Alliance, by joining the Storm Knights (L23). I need to play him more.

Mastodon Rex (Villain)

Mastodon Rex, as someone put it once. "Sharp as a spoon, but a nice thing to have between you and the fight." Rex is about as bright as a burned out candle, but he gets the job done. Lots of fun playing Rex, as I can be dumb as dirt, type with mis-spellings, and get away with it. He has a couple of suprises in him, if he gets to play with the group he's in. Solo plays really well, and I am always getting invites to Pick up groups, which I usually take unless I am planning on something.
Have had several people ask how he stays standing, against red-con bad guys, when the rest of the team is on the floor. "Rex Strong..Rex Break them!!" (and then use a lot of inspires to stay standing)

Psychadelic Balm

I basically made Balm to help the Phalanx get more healers. Balm is a hippy. He's more into bad jokes, puns, and having a good time than fighting. Still tweaking his personality, and trying to make him fit in. Definitely has one of the most colorful outfits I have seen in the game.

Tact's my 'Sneeeeeky' toon. Go in, smoke the room, leave. That simple. He's got a partner now that makes him even more fun to play. Between the defenses he has, and the bonus from her armors. Love to duo him and Austere. Great dynamics, she keeps him healed and covered, he slaps the bad guys around til they fall.

The Twinkie Kid

My contribution to the Hostess heroes. Twinkie is a fun play. the jokes, innuendo, and down right silliness makes my sides hurt each time we group up. The most fun I'd had for a while until fairly recently. Been getting in the habit of giving another character an inspire when I hit the macro which reads.."Hands an individually wrapped twinkie." Great fun each week. Makes me look forward to Mondays.

I have more characters, but these are the ones I play the most.
